Description

The WIFI232-A2 is an embedded industrial WiFi module designed to provide wireless connectivity to equipment with UART serial, GPIO, and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces. It integrates an IEEE 802.11 b/g/n WiFi solution with TCP/IP networking, allowing serial devices to communicate over WiFi without requiring major changes to the existing application.

The module supports STA, AP, and AP+STA wireless modes, making it suitable for flexible wireless network configurations. It also supports TCP/IP and UDP protocols, transparent transmission, serial command mode, GPIO control, and HTTPD Client mode.

With its compact 25 × 40 × 8 mm design, external 2.4 GHz antenna support, and single 3.3 V power supply, the USR-WIFI232-A2 is suitable for applications such as industrial sensors and controls, remote equipment monitoring, asset tracking and telemetry, home automation, and medical devices.
