Introduction

ES-GSM-EC200-UP is a 4G GSM + GPS module or breakout board built with quectel EC200U GNS chipset, with TTL UART 3.3v/5v interface, standard designed, suitable for your GSM based or sms or IOT application based products.

Features

● Compact size to plug into your application PCB or product

● Micro SIM Card Connector

> placed at the edge of the board and projected little bit out side, so it is very easy for your product design with enclosure.

● UART output with both 5V and 3.3v MCU interface

> by default 3.3v level, can be changed to 5v level by removing and changing a small jumper connection

● 3 LED Indicators (Red – Power ON, Yellow – Network Status, Green – 4G)

> placed at the edge of the board, suitable for your product design, Either you can place LED pipe to project the LED on top of your enclosure OR you can replace the SMD led with throughhole LED to project outside of the enclosure.

● Power supply is +5v Maximum

● 2 UFL Antenna Connector for GSM and GPS

> UFL antenna interface so it is best fit for your product to mount the anywhere as per your product design. Antennas can be purchased separately, click HERE to go to 4G antenna page.

● Pinouts (GND, VCC, TXD, RXD apart from this basic 4 pins also we have PWRKEY, RESET,  PEN)

> GND, VCC = Power Supply maximum +5v only

> TXD, RXD = UART Data Pins

> PWRKEY  = to power on GSM chip (optional, leave free if not used, by default automatic power on mode)

> RESET     = to reset the GSM chip (optional, leave free if not used)

> PEN        = Power Enable, used to shut down the power supply for the GSM chip or complete circuit, useful for power saving (optional, leave free if not used) or battery powered applications
